How the scoring works

This quiz uses twelve questions about preferences and everyday decisions. Every question offers four choices, labeled internally with the stable identifiers a, b, c and d. Choosing an answer adds its assigned weight to one of seven dimensions: valor, loyalty, cunning, ambition, resolve, insight and shadow. The wording and weights are original to this site. They are a transparent design for an entertainment activity, rather than a psychological instrument or a hidden rule from the novels.

All seven dimensions begin at zero. Each selected option currently contributes three points to its associated dimension. Your result is the profile attached to the largest accumulated score. If several dimensions finish with the same score, the first matching result in this quiz’s published result order wins. There is no random tie breaker. Repeating the same sequence of choices therefore produces the same result. Unanswered, extra or invalid choices do not produce a result.

Reading your result

The result order is displayed below so you can understand how ties are resolved. The descriptive paragraphs and trait tags are creative interpretations of your choices. A color label does not mean every dragon of that color behaves the same way. An ability label does not explain how a signet awakens, who can receive it, or which character possesses it. Neither quiz assigns a rider or predicts an event in the story.

During play, selecting an option moves straight to the next question. The progress label shows your current position out of twelve, while the URL records the current step. The URL contains no answers and does not restore a completed session after reloading. Restart clears the choices in memory. The activity sends no quiz answers to a server, uses no account, and saves no profile.

At the end, use Share as text to copy your result to your own clipboard. Nothing is posted automatically. You can then compare the reference matrix, explore the other quiz, or begin again with different choices. Treat the result as a creative conversation starter and keep it separate from sourced information about the books.

Orange Dragon — cunning: Inventive, Flexible, Resourceful.
Blue Dragon — ambition: Purposeful, Driven, Organized.
Brown Dragon — resolve: Steady, Patient, Persistent.
Golden / Iridescent Dragon — insight: Curious, Reflective, Observant.
Black Dragon — shadow: Independent, Discreet, Focused.
